I got a 87 Volvo 760 real cheap that runs but needs some work. Has the V6 in it but in the future I am planning on putting a LS series GM engine and a T56 six speed trans in it. Plenty of room in the engine compartment from what I can see. Car has no rust at all, no dents other than a ding in the hood, nice interior, and all that stuff. Got it for $200 with 130,000 miles on it. Only problems are that the ignition switch doesnt turn the starter over so I have a remote starter hooked up to it now and the blower fan for the AC/heating system doesnt blow. Heres some pictures of it, click on them for the bigger version.
Havent seen how its been done but have seen the twin turbo LS1 740 wagon videos. Pretty cool but has no info on what he had to do.
This will have to wait a while after my 710 is done and have some bills paid off.

nice find...I've seen a couple of those smallblocked and they're a blast. That LS-conversion is definately the way to go. Check out http://www.jagsthatrun.com/ They've got parts and a swap manual to help you out..

Found that site to but thats all for the older small blocks, not the LS series design. I may have to just get a bad LS1 and use it as the guinea pig to see what has to be done and fab up the brackets myself.
