it's a black 2-door hatchback with a 2.8L v6, headers, cam, Mallory unilite and a whale tail. my little brother down in Sacramento gave it to me 'cause it wouldn't pass a smog test. no smog tests here in Idaho! (i like to rub that it a lot. i'm sorry.) p.s. i need a new engine for it. my ex-wife ran it out of oil. one time i told her that i loved my 620 more than her. i guess she shouldn't have asked!

Very nice Bre, I saw your white 620 at BlueLake but didn't know where you were. (or what you looked like) I think your 510 looks much better in person than in pictures. Very nice.

Ya, so we can't edit posts now. I saw Bre's white 510, not a 620.

Hey 80Kingcab- did you drive your 720, and is it a white 4X4 KC? The only other 720 I saw there was a blue? '85-86.

I drove my yellow 520 with the huge bricklike grandpa canopy- one of only 2 520s there but I showed up too late to register.

Thanks for the comments on the Dime, but you haven't seen the rear end... the front sits just as low as the rear with the motor installed.

earwig, is that Capri 2.8 Motor a GM unit?... I'm not a big fan of those wheels (gold mesh) but they are the only ones I have for it right know. I tried selling them while back but no one wanted them, or I guess my asking price was too much.

Bleach, most people think my boxed 510 looks better in pictures then in person so it's cool to hear that..... so you where there...hummm tried to keep an eye out for your blue/green 620 but never saw it. I was around my 510 for some time hoping a few folks would pop up but only local guys.

That's the problem, no one knows what anyone looks like or their real name so it's not like you can ask around.

Jim-K you where their too, and datsunaholic?   Man, next time we'll have to set a time to meet or some thing as I meet no one from this forum.

I only saw Bleach because I've met him before. I saw his Z- I was only parked 2 cars behind his, but I forgot his was Purple. It looked familiar, and I recognized his license plate frame. But wasn't sure.

What was odd was as I was browsing the different cars, I saw a small crowd around my old '68 520, which seemed odd (since it wasn't in with the "Show" vehicles). I guess folks just aren't used to seeing the older pre-521 trucks. Too bad mine's kinda well-worn from being a road warrior (it only has 382,000 miles on it- that's 3 engines, 2 trannies, 2 rear ends, etc etc). I can imagine the crowd if I brought my '64 320- it would have been the oldest one there by far. Maybe next year.

my capri has the stock 2.8 ford engine. it's the same one that came in the rangers back then. you'd think i'd be able ot find those engines around by the butt load. i don't care much for the gold in the center of my rims much either.

Bre620: Yeah I was there for a couple of hrs. My truck is still on jackstands so I couldn't really participate much. I thought about bringing the ZR1, but then I changed my mind because I'd probably just attract scorn for being the wrong car at the wrong show. Plus I was with my wife so she was more interested in walking along the water rather than walking among the Datsuns. Go figgure... I only recognized 80KingCab because he had those two rear windows in the back of his truck. I do remember the old 520 though... Pretty cool, I had never seen one before. There wasn't many trucks so I was a little dissapointed, but I guess it was mainly a 510 event so Im not complaining. I really liked the Z's. Maybe I'll build one on the next project.. Compared to my L18 I've been staring at for the past few months, those sixes look the size of a 1271 Jimmy... Esp when there's triple webers on em. There was one that really stood out, the one with the major chrome and polish going on under the hood...

The 280Z 2+2 had some major polish going on. Hidden wires, direct ignition, lots of shaved tubes on the intake. The engine compartment was very bare and clean. Also, the 280ZXR engine was pretty cleaned up. My hood was closed... because it is a little dirty. I've got a unique strut tower bar though. I had not planned on bringing the Z untill the night before so I only had time to wash the outside.

Drove the truck today though. I made it home, but its still not idling the best that it can...
