how do i stop my window from just falling down. it seems to just rattle all the way down by its self

wow I've never heard of that, the handle actually spins as well? You could try motorcycle chain lub, that stuff is super sticking and comes in a spray can. That seems like it would work.

It's caused by the felt in the lower channel being gone or wore out, or the channels themselves being loose.

If you roll the window down to the bottom and use a dull knife to gently pry the felt out of the upper sash (or channel) you can then line it with a long "U" shape piece of thin cardboard, or equivalent. When the felt is replaced and the window rolled up, it will pinch the glass more and keep it from sliding down. If this isn't enough take the door panel off, raise the window, and do the same with the front and rear lower sashes. Then order new ones.

I've never had the window fall down, I had a 2 door with no felt and the window stayed up in it. New felt from nissan is like 60 bucks (enough for 2 windows) and so worth it.
