Heavy duty brass button clutch
currently running 720 disks and calipers ( going to hilux 4 spot calipers when time permits)
full 3" exhaust from turbo back
Front mount intercooler
remapped stock ECU

BODY

shaved canopy lugs
shaved fuel door
tubs
caddy deville tail lights ( thin ones)
18 x 8 " 6 spoke nissan titans ( Only set to be in australia !!)
sketchy atm on shaving door handles
rollpan

i Have some buildup pictures and how it sits atm so ill post em later on for you guys.

Can't wait to see more pic's

Shave those handles you won't regret it, makes that bullet line much smoother at the door.

Where are you going to put the gas cap? My hooks will be next to go but I'm not to sure about shaving the gas door.

You'll love the 6 spoke armadas too

haha I cant imagine how slow the J is... I know I was disappointed with my L20, maybe side drafts would of helped.

What are you gunna do about the front sump engine? I guess you are fabing up all kinds of parts why not an oil pan.

that'll be nice once its all together. I can't believe you actually found a tub over there. I didn't think any trucks had them.

the j motor is so slow its not funny.

]2eDeYe : im going a fuel cell in the tub.

icehouse : the oilpan/sump needs only a 1/4 inch notch to clear the steering arm.

Bleach : the tub was extremley difficult to get.... a 5 hour drive each way and even then it has a massive dent down the side!!

I like the CA

Do you have an abundance of those intake manifolds down there?

wow its been ages since i updated this!!

bascically have purchased a PWR radiator, removed the radiator support and am currently fabbing up a new one.

also decided to keep the standard turbo just for now as we are going through a massive 'anti-hoon' campaign over here and i dont need any trouble.

i have redone the whole stopping side of things:
decided to go a cross drilled and slotted 720 rotor, and high profrmance brake pads for the front, and up rear i have just put in some new shoes.

bodywork wise: still in bare metal. should be painted soon.

colour is diamond schwartz black ( bmw colour). tub has been shaved and im currently getting a new tailgate skin rolled up.

its probably a few months off completion at least.

ill get some more pics when i can find the digital camera.

thanks!

turns out they wouldnt cross drill the rotors, so i just got slotted ones. hopefully they will do the job of pulling me up!

shaved the fuel filler. also got the other parts of the tub in etch primer to stop it rusting more then what it is atm. currently looking pretty damn good.
