I guess I should start a thread on my lifelong datsun project, as it will be changing quite a bit in the next couple months.  Things like the disk brake conversion, interior, paint, and possibly getting the KA wired up to run (I wanted to wait untill I completly forgot where the wires go).

Some pics of the seats sitting in place, not bolted in.

They sit kind of high, but I still need to tweek the brackets around so I can bolt them to the floor.  That will bring them down some.

nice. You've had the 'KA' in your signature so long I figured it must be on the road and driving... I had no idea you were still working on it.

Good project though. I'm planning to go KA with my next 620... once I'm done with my Z's.

Yeah, I thought it would be done a long time ago too, too much work, and not enough beer drinking.  Once BEEBANI gets my balljoint upper control arms to me I will be more modivated to get it on the road.

Does anyone know of a low profile fan that I can mod to fit?  Prefeably something that is stock on a car that I could find in a wrecking yard.

I was wondering if mabey someone in or around Tacoma could help me out with a torch to get my lower control arms off.  The bolt is frozen to the bushing.  Thanks!!

My dash cap came in today!  Hopefully it will be put on this weekend.  I might even find a upper hose that will work for my radiator.

What year and what car did the engine come out of? I'm doing a KA24E swap into my '76 620, and I don't know anything about what to buy.

They're done Paula, they are made from 3/4" OD x .065 wall DOM.

Did you bend that 1/4" plate on a brake or in a press?
Are the arms equal length? If so, then the caster/chamber will be set with shims?
Don't have to be too bright to be me!

My engine is from a 1990 hardbody 2x4.  I had a whole wrecked truck to start with.  You will need to mod your suspention crossmember, and one motor mount (drivers side).  If you decide to use the trans. you will need to mod your trans crossmember and elongate your front driveshaft.  Take in account if you will be lowering it at that point because you will want to shorten the back half.  Dont use the hardbody rear, it is wider by a few inches so you wont be able to fit anything but stock sized tires under the rear.
