A couple days ago when talking to mklotz he said a few times that I wasn't a "truck guy"... Well.. that all changed about an hour ago.

There has been a local ad for the past week or so for a '75 620. The price just kept getting lower every time I saw it. I sent an offer tonight and I got a VERY nice 620. For.. we'll say under $500.

I can't tell the history for certain, but there was a huge pile of paperwork in the glovebox. The body is in excellent condition. Paint is actually looking fixable. Runs and drives great. Needs a little steering work maybe. Brakes are great. L20B, 4 speed, aluminum wheels, spare tire, all glass good, doors shut nice. All around it is exactly what I've always wanted - a bullet side!

Anyone have a bench seat?

Also, if you would like to buy the wheels, make me an offer.

Looks like a goody, now you can start reading the disk break thread in the truck section :-) I say drop it a good 6 inches :-) maybe some armada 18z.

Funny thing is, I've always wanted a 620! It's also the first Datsun that I've driven home when I bought it!

That's how I am, what fun is it to drive it home anyways, I like trying to get it drivalbe within the first day. My record is 1/2 hour that was my first 510, some people just don't understand points :-)

Speaking of your old wagon how's your roommate doing on that project?

Congrats, just got a '78 long bed parts truck today too! Thought he would want cash, so made him a deal he couldn't refuse. A cord of firewood. Now I got to get it home without being seen. But your truck, I'd want to be seen in it!!

The truck was relieved of its seat belts before I got it. A trip to the Pull a part and I got a set of Pathfinder seatbelts for it. They have retractors and the female side of it is the rigid style instead of a webbed belt. Won't be searching for the seat belt everytime I get in.

Can't drive it until tomorrow - plates are 5 years expired.

Nice job, rat!  Those wheels are true old skool minitruck, circa '92-'93!  I might be interested in those, wanna trade for some pathies?

When ya puttin' bags on it?

I got my title transfer completed. Had to get a trip permit because I have to take it to DEQ.

One of the guys I met at the AMI BBQ said '75 was now exempt. Oh well, that's what I get for listening to people!

I'm taking it tomorrow. The engine looks VERY stock, so maybe it will just pass DEQ!

Haha you have to go through emisions, sorry I couldn't help but laugh, so what are the rules down there, I've never been to emisions in my life, well once in the work truck as a pasenger.
