The front ST springs, bumper steer spacers, and new struts are installed. They advertise a 1" drop but I got 1.5" drop from what it was before. You can't tell it is lowered in this pic because the tires are undersize; but those wheels are just too awsome not to take a picture of. For now I just had time to install the front suspension. Ryan came to to help and his help was very much needed. I took it out for a test drive and it rides much more firm. The old struts were completely blown; no resistance at all. It rides nice now.. I did a little midnight wet parking lot drifting |

oh ya, I need to get those ball joints greased today. The springs are Suspension Techniques. The wheels are Simmons Racing Wheels 16x9 +0 4-lug I also have 16x10 for the rear. the other 16x9 has a blown tire so I was not able to rock those wheels for DriftbleachFest 2006. It was a small turnout anyway... we only had 1 car show up. I'm rockin the Enkei's today. You can definatly tell it is lowered. the front is barely lower than the rear because my rear stock springs are sagging so much. I dont' think there's near as much involved with the rear so I might just swap those tonight. |

Did you use the spring compressor or do it my way?

I did it the wussy way and used the spring compressor... I'm a conservative fellow. It took no time at all though.

oh, ya. I put the rear in last Friday. It rides firm. I like it! I need to get some new pics with the stance. The rear is about the same height as before (sagging stock springs) with just a tiny bit of forward rake. I'd say it droppd the car 1.5" front, 1" rear. The front lower lip of my air dam is getting a few scratches while I get used to the new ride height. |
