bullet Topic: How I roll
    Posted: 18 April 2006 at 11:51pm

So, my recent updates on the ol 73.............I got my5 spd in,(thanks Bleach). I swapped the speedo cable for the later year one, and installed the much shorter and stouter z shifter. I bought a new rear tranny seal, still need to install that. I have a brand new oem throttle cable on its way.

I bought new window channel felt, (which worked  f-ing awesome), painted the doors flat black, recovered my door panels in a purty material, and tomorrow should be getting my new door seals in the mail from Too Intense.

I also replaced my upper rad. hose (Hainz), and repainted the header with a different paint. I also ordered some Nismo off road decals for the bedsides, when I finish painting it flat black. I also have a "nismo" steering wheel , new shift knob and leather shift boot on the way. Other than that, I'm still waiting for my Lynx, then I can install my freshly rebuilt dcoe.

It kind looks like velvet in the pic. It's an automotive velour. It's really not that shiny, and almost matches the prelude seats.

No i still haven't gotten the lynx yet, I was told it would take 4- 6 weeks. Yeah, I rebuilt the dcoe myself, pretty easy.

I'll post the part # from jc whitney for the felt later. It was only like 7 for each side, and totally worth it.

that window felt was 19$ I thought 9/16 correct?
I was looking at some for my 521 windows rattling

Hope you didnt paint that pretty BLUE block!!!!!when doing those headers

one thing bad about the wrinkle finnish paint is you never can get all the dirt out of the cracks!!!!!!

hope you put a clamp on the upper rad hose!!!Once it pressureizes.

Hose clamps are overrated. I got my steering wheel, shift knob and shift boot today, also my outer rubbers.

That was a dirty crack.

I got my new acc cable today. The rubbers fit really well on the doors, too. If anyone wants to replace them,I suggest it for the 35.00..............
