Unfortunately I didn't ever take pics when it wasn't wrecked but you can see my totaled '79 in the following pics. I had just started the 2nd round of body work on it too! Dang that truck was in great shape...I miss it!

I was stopped at a light in the left turn lane waiting for the green arrow and a guy's horse trailer broke off the hitch and came barreling at me full speed into the front driver's side fender. The truck was thrown into the vehicle next to me and that vehicle hit the one on the other side!

Here you can see the brunt of the impact. The hitch attatchment actually went through the tire and moved the engine to the other side of the engine bay. Had it hit my door I don't think I'd be here right now, scary stuff!

Here is an inside shot. I had just put the steering wheel on a week ago. You can see the dent on the door, that was from elbow.

Well enough with the stories, just a remenising about my '79 and the point is to take pictures while they are still together!!

Oh man!!! "Corralled" by a horse trailer.  That totally sucked.  Nice looking truck too.  I like the wheels on it.  Judging by the year of the Dodge your posin with, looks like it was somewhat recently that it happened.

The date written on the windshield in the impound yard was 2/2/04, so looks like it was about 2 years ago.

Me, I woulda kept it for the parts but I have the room to do so (buyback from the insurance co was $25 for my '81 Wagon, well worth keeping the engine at that price!)

Corralled! It was a crappy experieince and yes it was totaled in '02. Man I really miss that truck.

I wish I could have had room to buy it back. I lost a radio, speakers, steering wheel and a bunch of nice parts like the l20b and the 4.11 rear, 5spd, etc.
