So here she is in all her dusty glory

Dented rim...leaks a little

Anyone wanna swap me grills?????puleaze

Gotta love the bumper stickers

Thick with it...and it was stored under a carport...

BADPENNY...You know I spent $6 on those ebay emblems only to get a truck with a set not to much later...

Got some sweet 14"s

Interior is actually in decent shape...if you don't look at all the crap... (there's more behind the seats)

Super clean doors and panels...I will be shavin' this set too

Says 77k on the odometer...what do you guys think?

Got the sweet system...some bump baby,m yeah

No seriously..in da old school flava' paper coned 12"s (think my 400 watts may be a bit much for these)

and as a bonus prize...

...and that's it for now. Hopefully will get her cleaned up in the near future and figure out a gameplan cause I only need one daily driver and I have no parking, but I think I will manage

That's the best $100 you'll EVER spend. What a find.

Assistant Great Hunter!!!!!!! You earned that title!!! With it being under the porch that long I'm guessing that Your window gaskets are still plyable and good too. Nice find!! You don't like that camper shell?!?!? It conforms so nicely to the shape of the cab!! I'd hang on to that, or start a bidding war later!! Who knows what other bonus prizes You might find inside that speaker box later?!?! Will Washington allow You to keep those vintage license plates? California and Arizona will now and a few other states. I would if possable. Later, Mike

Yeah I am pretty stoked...now if it would just stop raining so I could clean it up some and get to work...

I gave Ryan those ebay deluxe emblems, I figured I was getting a fresh set so why not

All the window gaskets are good and so far (29 days straight of rain I think it is now ) no leaks at all.

I'll be running the canopy...I haul paper for work sometimes and it is sorta wet around here. Plus now I can let the dogs ride back there instead of up front all the time.

As far as vintage plates...I plan to get personalized plates at some point...and the truck will be getting a little personalization as well..far from vintage

..another bonus I just found is that the seats have seat covers over them (I origionally thought the seats were torn up)...they look good underneath. Stock and black

29 days streight of rain?!?!? Sheech, You guys must have thick blood!!!!! I totally love that camper shell!! You will never find another one that lines up that accurately to the cab contours. I built My own (another of My lonnnnggggg storys!!) for the Datsun SS in 1975 as I couldn't find one with those lines!! Very nice!! That truck is a very good find and doesn't need much. Actually it is a cleaner body, if You can believe it, than Funtana was when I started building it!! So that gives You an idea of just what You purchased. I took Funtana to Earl Scheib for paint and bodywork, spending less than $2,000.00 total. You can have a very nice looking truck before summer if You shop around for paint prices at one of the cutrate shops!! See 'Ya at Canby!!!!! By the way, I went into the NWDE calender and couln not find dates yet for Canby. Can it be verified that it is going to be on the 10th and 11th of June this year??

It's not on the NWDE calendar because it's not an NWDE event- it's a NWDOA event. I'll put it on the calendar if the NWDE folks actually come up with an event calendar this year (didn't have any general public events last year at all).

It's been verified.....it is the 10th and 11th of June.

www.datsunsnw.org

They changed the name from NWDOA.

If you make the trip...don't forget that you can camp on site for a couple of bucks....would save you some money on the trip. I'm sure the same guys that camped last year will be camping again!

i can't get over how nice that thing is for the price! i like that shell on too. the rims fill me with contempt though. i picked up that same '73-'79 Haynes manual on ebay. its so nice having the older one that is only 620. i love that it shows some stuff on the double truck in it.
