Hey guys. I haven't posted in a while, but I have been checking in every now and then. Anyway... I recently got a pristine 240z dash to add to my parts collection. I have been looking for one for a while to go with the 240z buckets and wood steering wheel in my 521(sitting in my 521). This dash is 99.9% perfect!!! And best of all , it was free!!! A guy wanted to get rid of the whole car, it had been gutted for a 350. He said I could have whatever I wanted off of it so I got the dash and steering wheel. Man, it's awesome. I'm not looking to sell it, But how much do you guys think it would be worth? The only blemish is a hairline 1/4 crack on top that is very easily repairable. I mean the crack is almost nothing and you have to be 3 inches from it to see it. PS It is original, not capped or recovered.

you can buy new dashes still for these.
I dont think a 1/4 crack is going to cut it if new prestine is avail for under 100$
Steering wheel would be good

But 25 $ is what I would give you. But I dont want them, unless you deliver it.

A 240Z dash is way over $100 new. I think they are more like $500 new if you can still get them. Your dash could be worth $200 or more used.

The difference between the Datsun truck market and the Z market is that there is actually a demand for these parts in the Z market.

Armorall helps a little with those dashes but the thing that makes them crack is the foam underneath expanding. Keep that dash away from heat, and if you ever install it in a vehicle, keep the car out of the sun and/or a sunshade in the windshield when parked. That is the only way to keep it from cracking further.

Thanks Bleach.

The foam underneath is cracking, any way to stop it?
