So my neighbor is on his way to Burning Man...but before he left he asked me to help him out with his La-Z-Boy recliner.
He wanted me to combine it with one of these...
So needless to say I tore into it, stripped the cart and started figuring out the mounting brackets and steering adapters.
Then I wired it for lights.
Then it was ready for testing...
How's almost 50mph on a La-Z-Boy grab ya...
Don't worry it even has a disc brake...
Only needed some reinforcement to the steering...no pic's of that cause it loaded up and headed out to Burning Man at the last minute... I do have some video but it has to be pulled off the camera and edited...Enjoy...discuss... |

Burning Man,,, was reading up on this years events!! What a big bash!! Dont suppose he's gonna be able to sneak any pics out from that event so we could see how the new "rig" worked out?!?!

Ya, he was talkin about a couch-cart but this was easier to pull off in the time we had... He should come back with loads of pic's and video. |

Well, it's supposed to be a music/art festival. Remember, these are West Coast Liberal types (apologies to any WCLs on the board) so it kinda has a commune-feel. So I hear. My sister is there, so it has to be. She hangs with the Fremont (Seattle) art-types that put on the Fremont Solstace Parade, which isn't nearly as nuts as Burning Man.

Yeah that's him...My neighbors the one in the chair...
it was Ryans idea to post it up here and I figured if an S-10 was on here that a 50mph la-Z-boy might be a bit closer to a Datsun
