I got tired of looking at my ugly bench seat today and yanked it out...

put in buckets from my dead Astro van...

here's a couple of pictures.

Those are gonna be way more comfortable then the bench seat, looks good.

I'm an even 6 foot...seeing as how the seats are mounted to 3/4 plywood and then mounted down, it gave me actually more leg room than the stock bench!

And here I was figuring it would be less...more room between the wheel and my belly :) now to just find one of those 620 consoles to put in and then to finish the shifter hole as it looks like the front u-joint self destructed before I got it and someone just duct taped  and puttied the crap back together!

 

nasty huh?

Nice! I'm only 5'7" & I had to cut the headrests off my eclipse buckets to get them to sit back where I'd be comfortable! Are you all just skinnier than me or what, lol?

well, I'm not skinny at 210....

it's the 40+ year belly that needed the room...I'm thinking of shortening the column a couple of inches...

At least you can check your u joint without jacking it up. Also be real easy to work on the shifter, lol.
