I got such great info about the heater hoses, I thought I'd put this to the forum too. I picked up a set of 4 of these Enki wheels and one of them has a bad boo-boo. If anyone knows of a place in the Portland area that can fix it, great! Otherwise, maybe someone out there has a spare on of these or a pair. They're 13". I'd have to look again to get the width.
Thanks!! ![]() |

Enkei 92s
I had some 15x 7s on my first 510. I just bang it out. those wheels are not worth much anymore. I painted my centers white. |

That was pretty much my plan, but there's a crack in the aluminum, so I figured if I had to have it welded (don't have my tig home yet), then I might as well have it done by a wheel shop that can take any warp out of it.
Or....find someone with one or two leftovers. :) The car is red right now, so the gold will go nice, but when it gets it's temporary flat black paint, I'll put on the 14" steel wheels with aluminum discs. |

I always thought the stock 510 rims painted nice black with some chrome trim ring looked cool. Polish BBS wheels!

I know the Z-car guys are all over those wheels. Especially the 15 inch. The 13 and 14s are common and not sought after as much. I've got those 15x7 wheels just like that with black centers on my 280ZX See picture in my signature... |

Well....the big swap meet is coming up. If I don't find another wheel or fix it by then, I may have some luck at the meet. I'm not too concerned about it and I'm not too motivated to spend much on it since I know these are not going to be the rims I go with when the rig is finished.
I did stock (painted black) rims with with beauty rings on a VW Rabbit many years agon and liked the look a lot. I've already got 10 hole rims with black centers on it now. They look fine, but I hate the slotted lug holes!!! I guess I'll see how it plays out. Maybe I'll have time this week to check wheel shops. Thanks for all the input guys!!! |

Well, the Enkei 92 may just be a mute issue. I just picked up 4 14x6 280ZX rims...iron cross style. One missing cap. Got them pretty darn cheap, so I'm a lot less motivated to do anything with the enkei's. I'll probably put them up for sale when I get a chance. The Mr. Fixit in me will probably try to fix it anyway! :)
From the brief look I took online about the rims, it doesn't look like I should have any trouble putting them straight on the wgn. I think I even have some 14" rubber to put on them. Thanks for all the input! |

Ya, those iron cross rims are common. Most people have to give them away to get rid of them. 280ZX 6-star aluminum wheels are fairly cheap, common, but look good. 14x6. They'll fit your wagon, a 510, 1st gen Maxima... pretty much anything. |

I got them for $25 and they're one of only 2 styles of 280Z rims I like....and the 6 star style isn't the other...sorry, I wouldn't have paid anything for that style, but to each there own. That's cheaper than I'd get steel wheels for at the s/y and they're only temporary anyway. I was going to put the full moon discs on the rig when it goes into black primer, but I think these will be fine...and they were still cheaper than a set of the discs would be.

Yeah? Well I need 2 of them, and I've got a six spoke for trading or selling. So are there any lurking about? ![]() |
