yeah, ok long story somewhat shortened. Hainz i know has been waiting for this post to come about. Anyways, Bleach and hainz graciously dedicated a good part of thier lives a little while back to help me with my project engine. I was in a hurry and encountered a few problems along the way. Blah ,blah, blah, shoulda listened, (gloat,), anyways, driving up to Bleaches homestaed yesterday, and poof, smoke comes in the cab, and out my nice shiny new ricer muffler. I pull off, it has lost what feels to be one cylinder's worth of compression, and is burning oil, also leaks underneath the water inlet on the head.

So, i pulled the plugs today, two are really oily. off came the manifolds, gotta get a block to hold my chain, no biggie, I think it's the head gasket. couldn't be rings, they're new, not valve seals, ditto. now, yes Hainz, I am going to put on my other head, the one without all of the stripped holes, and fix another little booboo, or oversight, or whatever. yeah, the broken bolt on the chain guide.

That bolt will be a MF to get out. But thats if you take the front cover off which you should!

We could start anew with 1500$ and about 2-3 months to get parts and assemble, then you will never work on it again. YOU could drive it across America!!!!!!!!
That is a cool little truck. Good work/hunting rig

Mybe Bleach still has that L16 of your! you could have started rebuilding that on the side.

I dont want to gloat but sound have listened, I hate seeing datsuns broken down and on the side of road only to get crushed in the Scraper!!

NOBODY WILL EVER CRUSH MY DAT. Only me! Thanks Hainz, Maybe you should sell one of your spare engines laing around. And by the way, Are you going to the Datsun meet in seattle? You should bring your truck, or one of your badass 510's. Or let me borrow your truck! I'm kidding.........................

I think its going to rain this weekend So it be the Banzai beater 510 If I go.
I ahve a feeling it we be to many 240sx types which I really have nothing in common with(younger). Totally differnet group of people. They will say ,why is that Datsun here? its not a Nissan
