bullet Topic: My first 620

I got my hands on a 73 620 mini, and now I need some help.
I have started on a body drop 1" 1/2. but my main problem is what to do with my front brakes, and suspension. Also I'm undecided on what to do for a motor, keep the L18??, or go with a I6, or 351W. I have a 5sp out of an early 80 240, if I stay with the L18, I can upgrade to the 5sp, it has the 4sp now. Unless there is an advantage to the 4sp gear ratio. As for the rear end I have one out of a 88 V6 toyota. The plan is a 3 link in the rear. The interior I have no idea so any suggestions or pic would be help full.

send pics to justin22_22@hotmail.com
thanks

What are you going to do first?
Got money for all this and will you finnish it.

its only a mini truck. 99% of the minis dont go fast anyways.
No with the body drop your valve cover will come thru the hood,Right? Got another hood already. yet along mock one up for a V8 .

Alot of custom work there. About the brakes you need a 78/79 frame they came with disk brakes or its more custom work. How was it dropped?
I have a V8 bracket that I was going to use in my mazda b2000 but I found a 620 instead now I want turbo

Get an aluminum racing radiator from Griffin or BeCool, you will need a stronger rear than the Toyota to handle the torque of a 351.  An 8.8 Mustang axle will work.  You will also need a Mustang T5 trans or a proper automatic. The stock five speed will not last long with an I6 and will die a quick death with the 351.  Oh yeah, you will not be able to use most headers on a V8 620 if you lower it, even if you can fit them in the truck with a 351 in it, unless you get some fenderwell exit headers, cool but noisy, lol.

The body drop isn't done, I have the frame cleaned up, and everything ready to do the drop. But I have an early 80's frame that I can get my hands on, and by the sound of things that looks like the best thing to do.

If I do go with the 351, it will be with an auto, and a 9" ford

As for cash I have 2g to start with and then what ever else I don't spend off my check. I have the spot, and tools to everything so labour isn't a worry. I just want to make sure I spend it where it needs to be.

thanks fo rthe input so far
