SHE'S ALIVE,SHE'S ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The KingCab Lives.Just finished my KingCab project, and even test drove it.Now that it has twin Webers, this thing takes off like a crazy rocket. And it sounds so sweet too. What i did: New head(shaved, ported) New Timing Cover New Timing chain, sprockets, guides New fresh gaskets all over converted to electric fan,and fuel pump Painted the motor black. Tomorrow it's going to the muffler shop for the new 2.5" pipes and Magnaflow muffler Ohh so beautiful, folks. This took me 6 months in between school and work to do,mostly working late nights, and it finally paid off!!
I would like to thank all of you on this board for advices and tips-i am sure that it would not be possible without you fellow Datsuners. |

Better go with 3 inch. Every quarter of an inch larger adds 20 horsepower.

Why is there so much white space around the images? Did you scan a little picture on a huge flatbed scanner?

to answer Hainz' question: This is a Cannon side draft manifold. The engine is stock, except the head has been shaved 0.60 ,portred, and polished, rebuilt(stock cam),and smog crap(which did not work anyway) removed. As for improvement i shall see as soon as i tune it up right
The important thing is at least now it runs. |
