It's in Seattle. I'm sure there is somebody here that would be interested. I would be if it were a king kab.

Because the guy took the flippin' engine out and put it up on a separate auction.  I'd be all over it if I hadn't bought a nice '68 520 on Tuesday.  I have a rebuilt Import L18 that's almost ready to drop in- just add manifolds and a flywheel.  But I am sorely out of room- I have 10 1/2 Datsuns on one residential property (plus 2 fords, a Chevy, and 2 trailers).

Which gives me an idea.  All us Datsun nuts know that finding parts is getting really hard, as the junkyards won't keep one around long.  We all have had opportunities to buy complete parts cars, but don't have the space or have Significant Others that frown on gaining a collection (my Significant Other would be the County Code Enforcement Office, whom I'm in violation with).

I wonder what it would take to pool resources to buy a piece of commercial property we could use as vehicle storage- out in the sticks, or well fenced, or maybe an old junkyard that's going away, as a collectibe parts-storage space.  I don't mean the rare, expensive parts like custom engines, but I mean intact parts cars or such, basically to keep 'em away from the crusher.  I've wanted to do that myself, but the expense is too much for me alone.  I guess that's the bad part of being such a packrat.

As time went on, we could add stuff like a mini-storage type building or even a shop with a lift.

OK, maybe I'm just dreaming.

Well now, Bleach has a half acre of cleared land. Why don't we all just drop cars/trucks off at his house!?!

Plant a Hedge around most of four sides of this group of vehicles and we'll be good to go.

Not a bad looking truck. And he could of got a lot more money for it if it had the engine inside or at least included with the truck!
