bullet Topic: 280 struts for sale

Since I finally got around to installing my new struts my old 280 struts are for sale.

They are powder coated, have 510 spring perches and KYB adjustable inserts and are ready to bolt into your 510.

make a (reasonable) offer

Will those bolt onto a 710 without any mods?  I know the actual struts interchange between the 510 and 710 but not sure about the spindles.

Oh yeah, are the bolt patterns the same for the lugs and will these brakes clear 13" rims?  Whats your general price range?

Dang, anyone know if the bolt patterns, total length, spindle angles, etc. are the same bewteen the 280, 510, and 710?  Id love to get rid of the crappy calipers the 710 has and get bigger brakes along with that.

to fit the 13's, you'd have to do at least a bit of shaving on the caliper depending on the rims.

BTW If anyone has the parts needed to do a rear disk swap I would be interested in trading for the struts

If they bolt up to a 510 they should bolt up to a 710 I beleive, but I need to know if the 510 assembly is the same as a 710 or close enought to it.  I am still interested in the struts but have to find out if they will work on my 710 as far as bolt pattern and total length.
