bullet Topic: body parts everywhere!
    Posted: 04 June 2004 at 8:14am
um, out of curiousity, who would be interested in a straight hood, a front valence, front fenders, (driver's side has small dent up front) or solid rear bumper? If I decide to sell those items.it's all straight with no rust, except for the driver's fender, right behind the grille area. Maybe my grille, too, it's painted flat black, no cracks, I kinda want a chrome one.

Ryan, I may be interested, if you still have the parts. Depends on what kind of condition I can find a 620 project in. I remember many years ago somebody advertised a chrome grille for the 620's but don't remember who it was...you have a current source?

The company selling these is the only one still making them today. They have a very bad reputation for overcharging shipping, long delays in shipping (months), and claims of never shipping items. They have a horrible rating the in BBB.

steel. i like your grill better black. i was looking at the stone guards on the new Subaru waggons driving lights. they are the same size as 620 head lights. the three cross bars could be turned vertical and all most match the bar spacing of a 620's grill. i thought it would give the front end a blacked out phantom grill kind of look. with the 150 watt KC Daylighter bulbs that i have in place of my high beams costing $25 each, i've been thinkin' about stone guards anyway.

show me a link to what you're talking about for the guards, bro. Um, anyways, here's some pics, I'm serious about getting rid of the front valence and front and rear bumpers. the last picture is a mystery, we''l see what happens after tomorrow................................

here's the front bumper, it's straight as can be, but it was painted over, so, make an offer, it needs to be painted.

and here's the valence and turn signals, I'm buying clears from a honda, so I won't need those, either. The valence is also straight, no dents, etc. But, alas, it doesn't fit the gameplan.

Uh-oh!, what's this mess?

damnit you guessed it, saw right thru me, hehe! kiddin. yeah, doin most of the bumper tomorrow. the top main bar (1.25") even mimics the "v" shape that the old one came to, with the hood. it's gonna be just dandy. Datsunaholic, don't you have fiberglass fenders$$$$$$$$????????

Yes, but one is almost a lost cause. Needs significant reconstruction in the nose (around the headlight area, it's not cracked, it's MISSING). Got ripped off on that.

The company selling these is the only one still making them today.

www.targetautomotive.com "grille 78-79 chrome $34.45"

Have found the stock grille online for as little as $14.00 but local supply house has one in stock for $25.00.

Well, they could be the same company. If you go to the Better Business Bereau, that bad company has about 25 different names and many web sites with the same products listed on each one.

Ryan, i wasn't on a website, i was looking at a guy i work with's Subaru. i was also thinkin' that if i had a donor grill i could chop out the section around my head lights and graft the donor's center to cover my lights. there is the heat/ blocking light from the bulbs verses looks cool thing though.
