Here are some decent 15x7 wheels you can use on your 620. Maybe not if its lowered 4 inches or more. I'm not sure that it would tuck being it is for a 4x4.

So, BigRed is here to stay? What do you have in mind? Something bigger, chrome, aluminum? Do you want a dish look, spokes or what? I'm pretty happy with what I have. I can't wait to get them installed.

Those wheels with the holes in them look simular to what you have. Some $2000 Escalade chrome 18" wheels would looks sweet on your truck!

Ok, I'll get the old Streak on the road soon. I promised myself I would have this truck done by summer 2002 at the VERY latest!

Garage is almost done. I'll get some pics posted soon. got two work benches, one super heavy duty one for slaming big blocks down on, and one weaker bench with drawers and cubbords underneath. I got the vise installed, and the drill press is ready to bolt down. New cabinets overhead so I can have the pool table up against the wall. More room in the middle for working on stuff!

Oh, but now I have a couple issues with my 280zx that need to be fixed first.

Ok, for those out there on a very tight budget, here is something to consider.

These steel wheels are 15 inch and don't have the plain design of a spare rim. They can be used as is or painted white or another color to match your 620. At $55 for all four they are a good value.

that is an example truck for the rims above.
The picture below is an example of some 42 inch rims on a Datsun 620 chop top!

I like the shaved bed (without the hooks). I am going to do that shortly.

Yup, I'm just messing around. Hey I think I still have one or two videos you made. One video was a walkaround of your truck idling. (very mean rough idle) and the other was of you driving down the street showing the RPM. Do you remember those?

What happened with this truck, Bre620?

here is an idea..... Panasports in 6 lug, i wouldn't mind a set of those on my truck...  so does anyone know of some lightweight wheels that are 6 lug?  i am running around on stock steelies with centercaps and beauty rings, with some good ol' 205/75/14 whitelines.  i was thinking about taking the pretty much new tires from my totalled MR2 off and throwing them on the stock rims for now (185/60/14), but that would result in WAYYY too short of gear ratios.  so i guess i just have to run what i have got for now till i can find a little bit bigger rim.

on another note, a friend of mine has got 2 parts trucks that we are gonna cut in half and make into 2 trailers to pull behind our trucks, but does anyone know where to get a hitch for the 620, or am i going to have to have them custom built?  i would like one that hides behind the liscense plate, so that you cant see it....  anyways, once we cut the rear halves of the trucks off, we are going to build a push me/pull me from the 2 cabs, and put barbeque grills in the engine bays, then build it to be towed... that should be cool.  anyways, i am off, BUBYE!

I don't know what 29" tires means. Can you give me the width/sidewall - rim size?

then just use that web page's calculator to figure it out. 4-speed would just be 1:1 ratio like all four or 5 speed transmissions.

205/75-14 is oversize. 185/75-14 is stock tires for these trucks. If you want 205 width, 205/70-14 is 1 mph over at 60 and 205/65-14 is 1 mph under at 60.

When your speedometer reads 60 you are actually traveling 62.8 mph with your tires.

*gasp* That idea is so feakishly strange that I wouldn't even attempt it!

well the tires are 29x9.5x15 Mickey thompson baja belted tires, that;s all it sayeth about them. and the cab-a-que idea is still better than a 620 limo!

Ok, but what tranny do you have? rear end stock? How's 65 mph in rpms? what color does a smurf turn if you choke it?

Ryan's tires are roughly 245/70/15 and earwig's are about 265/75/15

I set up a spread sheet to find tires to fit under the 620 when I'm done with the body trop. I can have a tire that is no more than 24" and still be able to lay out. Hear is the formula that I used ( it comes out about .1" off from the toyo web site)

for a 185/75R14 where 185=Width, 75 =AspectRatio and 14=RimSize

overall height in inches=Width*AspectRatio*2/100/25.4+RimSize

185*75*2/100/25.4+14=24.9  Stock tires won't fit mine once lowered.

the 100 is to convert the Aspect Ratio to a %, The 25.4 is to convert from mm to inches and the 2 is because there is a sidewall both top and bottom that need to be accounted for.

This can also be used for " Plus Sizing" to get to a bigger rim and not change your speedo.

Hope this helps

that was with the factory 4 speed and rear end of my '76 620. i don't have a tach, so i don't know the r's at 65. now i have the 5 speed out of a 720 4x4. the trans doesn't have the speedo hook up on it. 4x's have it on the transfer case. i drive it most of the time without the t-case. i had a center driveline lengethened. that's what i run around with most of the time. so, i usually have no idea how fast i'm going. yea!
