I got the Pathfinder wheels mounted with new tires.
They are the 4x4 style 15x7. They tuck very well front and back. So now I'm ready to lower it. I just need some 4" drop blocks.

yes, I also need to do some primering...  I heard you could buy blue primer, so I might look into that.

Its my usual camera. Kodak DC20. That's on the high resolution mode. About 490x400 pixels max. I've had it a long, long time. You can get them for about $5 on eBay.

I can either get some 2wd Frontier centers which are silver with the Nissan logo on them. I'd like to find some generic chrome center caps. These rims set flush with the hubs so I would need some with a backing plate with the 6-lug pattern in them... also they must be only about 2" in diameter and I'd prefer 1.5 to 2 inches tall. No 4 inch 4x4 centers.  I looked on Gorilla's web site and they didnt' have any... speaking of Gorilla, they also sell locking lug nuts.

These rims touch the parking brake cables, so I'll try putting my spacers in there and see if they clear. I have 3mm spacers. Anyone think I'll have a problem with the bolt strength? ...as long as I stick with a non-turbo 4-cyl.

At 3mm? No. Go out a inch or 3 like a co-worker did with his '65 Impala SS... I'll just say chasing a gold-spoke Dayton (which I think are UUUU-GLY) around I-5 at Spokane St isn't fun. Or trying to replace the destroyed front fender.

He went with a set of era-proper wheels that didn't stick out after that. And replaced ALL the wheel studs.

For your primer you can buy some white primer then tone it using toners sold at Home depot. Thats what i did to my HB and it came out good.

BTW: Those 15x7 Pathfinders are so deep that the u-bolt shackle sets just inside of the wheel. You can't put on any blocks taller than 2 or maybe 3 inches. 4-inch definatly wont' work because it will hit the wheel. The 15x6 2wd Frontier wheel might be a better choice, although they are not as bright. I still like the "look" of the Pathfinders better even if I can only use 2 inch drop blocks.

Now you need some centercaps. I'm still trying to find caps for my '70s-ish aluminum wheels for my 510.

Ya. I see some on eBay this week. Would be about $10 each with shipping... I need a new carrier bearing first and other doo-dads and gizmos.
